Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal met with Warren Buffett, of Berkshire Hathaway Chairman, during the 19th Annual Microsoft CEO Summit, held at the Microsoft Conference Center in Redmond Campus in Washington, Seattle. The Prince attended the summit after receiving a personal invitation from Bill Gates, CEO of Microsoft.

Prince Alwaleed and Warren Buffett discussed investments related matters as well as global issues. Warren Buffett is one of most successful and influential investors of all time, and an ardent philanthropist, and was the wealthiest individual in the world in 2008. Mr Buffett took time to commended Prince Alwaleed on his ongoing humanitarian works and investment acumen.

During the summit Prince Alwaleed and Bill Gates discussed economic developments in addition to topics related to mutual investments, their joint ownership of the Four Seasons. The two business heavy-weights also discussed possible future collaborations.

The Prince also met with Dick Costolo, CEO of Twitter, this week at the Fairmont Hotel in Seattle, Washington. The two discussed the latest technical, financial and organizational developments in Twitter. Prince Alwaleed owns a large investment in Twitter, which has increased 300 million to approximately $1.2 billion since Twitter’s IPO.
