King Salman received Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan on Wednesday in Jeddah, as part of his first state visit overseas.

PM Imran Khan was presented guard of honour upon his arrival at King’s Palace, and also performed Umrah early on Wednesday.

In an interview with Al Arabiya, Khan said that Pakistan would stand by Saudi Arabia always, and that anyone who comes into power in the country would visit the KSA as a priority.

“Saudi Arabia came to Pakistan’s aid when it needed it,” said the Pakistani Prime Minister.

The doors of Holy Kaaba (Baitullah) were also opened for Imran Khan, where he was given the opportunity of going inside. He prayed for Pakistan and the people of the Muslim world.
