
King Salman was visited by foreign ministers from both Morocco and Eritrea at the Al-Yamamah Palace in Riyadh on Wednesday, as well as receiving personal corresponding messages from the King of Morocco and the President of Eritrea.
The Moroccan minister of foreign affairs and international cooperation, Nasser Bourita, passed on greetings from King Mohammed VI during the meeting.
The Eritrean minister of foreign affairs, Osman Saleh, conveyed greetings to King Salman from the Eritrean President, Yamani Jabr Abe, at a separate meeting at the Palace.
The King and Foreign Ministers discussed mutual cooperation between the nations, as well as issues pertaining to North Africa, East Africa, and Arabia, and their shared interests. Both meetings were attended by the King’s Interior Minister Prince Abdul Aziz bin Saud bin Naif, Minister of State Musaed Al-Aiban, Minister of Foreign Affairs Ibrahim Al-Assaf, Minister of State for African Countries’ Affairs Ahmed Qattan, Moroccan Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Mustapha Mansouri and Saudi Ambassador to Eritrea Saqr bin Suleiman Al-Qurashi.
