Mohammed bin Salman Donald Trump

Mohammed bin Salman said to “favour Trump” in 2024 elections

A palace insider has revealed that Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is in favour of Trump becoming President at the 2024 US elections, for reasons of a closer “shared vision” for future cooperation, including a tough stance against Iranian power and regional influence.

The revelation comes after further recent turmoil between MBS and US President Biden, who has promised he will punish Saudi Arabia for their bilateral move with Russia to cut in oil supply and bolster oil prices. While it is common knowledge that the Saudi leader prefers Trump to Biden, it is not thought that the Opec+ cartel announcement was in anyway designed to damage the Democrat’s midterm prospects. Democrat house rep. Ro Khanna joined his party leader in taking a hard stance against the Saudi Royals, suggesting an arms embargo should be urgently implemented, effectively banning US corporations from supplying further arms, weapon components and support to Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi Royal family are now facing a dilemma. Their US built weapons systems are incompatible with similar systems available from China, effectively tying them in to a continued quid pro quo with the US, which is unravelling day by day under Biden’s “no negotiation” style of international politics.
