The Saudi Royal Family have expressed serious concern about an imminent threat from Iran. Both Saudi Arabia and the US have been sharing intel in recent days, which points to Iran building towards a strike against their gulf neighbour, potentially in the coming days. The US Government issued a strong message in support of their Saudi ally, making it clear that they would not hesitate in protecting the Saudi Kingdom with military force.
Iran’s foreign ministry spokesman, Nasser Kanani, responded to the report on Wednesday by calling it “baseless” and aimed at tarnishing Tehran’s relations with its neighbours.
