President of Egypt Abdel Fattah el-Sisi

Egyptian President Sisi made a brief visit to Saudi Arabia today to congratulate the Saudi Royal Family on their new appointments, following King Salmans promotions of Mohammed bin Nayef and his son Mohammed bin Salman into the Crown Prince and Deputy Crown Prince positions – this was the third visit made by Sisi to the KSA so far in 2015.

The new appointments, it has been said, will improve US relations, as the new Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef enjoys a closer relationship with US officals than other members of the Saud family.
