Saudi Culture Minister Prince Badr meets Egyptian counterpart to improve cultural cooperation

Saudi Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Mohammed met with Ines Abdel-Dayem, the Egyptian Minister of Culture, in Cairo yesterday to discuss improving and strengthening cultural cooperation between the two countries.

Saudi Culture Minister Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Mohammed met with Ines Abdel-Dayem, the Egyptian Minister of Culture, in Cairo yesterday to discuss improving and strengthening cultural cooperation between the two nations.

The Saudi Minister is leading a Saudi delegation in Egypt to participate in the Conference of Ministers for Cultural Affairs in the Arab World, an event hosted by the Egyptian Culture Ministry in cooperation with the Arab League Education, Culture and Science Organization (ALECSO).

The event is focused on several issues around Arab culture including Arab identity, the promotion of Arab Culture and the cooperation between Arab nations in achieving this.

ALECSO functions in the framework of the Arab League, and is focused on the fields of education, culture and science at regional level, and also aims to boost intellectual unity between the constituent nations.
