Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman chaired a Cabinet meeting on Monday afternoon at Al-Yamamah Palace. Minister of Culture and Information Adel Al-Toraifi issued a statement after the meeting saying that the Cabinet condemned the Houthis for continuing to attack innocents in various cities across Yemen with weapons and equipment including artillery.

Al-Toraifi also stated that the Cabinet welcomed the leaders’ decision to declare their loyalty to Hadi’s administration. This would help all Yemenis, he said. The minister said coalition forces were working alongside humanitarian and other organizations to clear people from that country, and provide aid to the suffering Yemenis.

Meanwhile, Defense Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman held talks with Bahrain’s King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa in Manama on the latest developments in Yemen and Bahrain’s military participation in the Saudi-led Operation Decisive Storm against the Houthis to restore Yemen’s legitimacy.
