Addressing the session, Dr. Al-Attiyah said the meeting comes during continuing challenges, risks and threats engulfing the Middle East, particularly terrorism and violence whose political, security and economic repercussions can’t be neglected.
“In this context, we appreciate the efforts of the Kingdom of Bahrain in foiling the terrorist plot that aimed to undermine the security and stability of the kingdom, and we stress the support of GCC states for the Kingdom of Bahrain in all its actions to maintain its security and stability,” Dr. Al-Attiyah said.
